Coral Walterman has appeared with opera companies and orchestras throughout the Northwest, most recently singing the role of Anna with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Puccini's Le Villi. Other recent guest appearances have been with Oregon Ballet Theater in Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Portland Chamber Orchestra in Thomas Svoboda’s work Returns for Symphony and Soprano, and with the Astoria Music Festival in The Sopranos Concert.  She has sung Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra and Opera Theater Corvallis as well as Susannah in OTC’s Susannah, and Vespina in Haydn’s opera L’Infedeltà Delusa with Portland Chamber Orchestra.   
 
In addition to being the featured soloist in Mozart’s Grand Mass in C minor with both the Portland Symphonic Choir and the Eugene Concert Choir, Ms. Walterman has also soloed with the Bravo Vancouver Concert Series in Handel’s The Messiah and Haydn’s Mass in Time of War with the Cannon Beach Chorale.
  
A graduate of Portland State University, Ms. Walterman was also a member of the San Diego Opera Chorus for three seasons.  Upcoming performances include excerpts from Verdi's Otello with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra in their 2009-2010 concert season.
